Our most beautiful, our new one. Full of hope and eagerness, since we were able to win her over last year, I have been pursuing her education, promoting her health and she has brought me a lot of joy.

But things don’t always work out the way you want and imagine. Same here. There were two really unpleasant experiences that made me realize that she can’t be my “soul horse”. So I looked for a new “job” for her as a companion horse.

And luck was on my side again: I found a young woman who wanted exactly her as a companion horse for her own mare. So the two searched and found each other, and as we had hoped, both bays were immediately a “pot with a lid”.

The worries and fears I had vanished with the videos and photos I received.

It’s so nice to see how the two get along. A dream. Have a great next life, lovely Quinie.

Corona and back – a stupid combination. Corona prevents people from daring to come to us, my intervertebral discs say that I should wear less. So solutions were needed. Our gentle and calm Mi’echen’, Ingo’s favorite cow, has found a fantastic new opportunity: There is a really great woman nearby who takes care of cattle with like-minded people and rescues them. We didn’t have to rescue Mia, but to prevent her from suffering the “normal” fate of a meat cow, the two of them literally found each other. I still have tears in my eyes when I recall the first meeting. Without any treats, Mia would never leave Rosina’s side. Ella, otherwise the boss of the herd, was also satisfied and left the two alone.

here you can see Mia with one of her new cow friends

And so, after a period of reflection, Mia and Rosina got together. Rosina wanders through the woods with her flock, films them and presents it on social networks. Behind this is an association, Strong for Animals eV, which supports the whole thing.

And so, one day last week, Mia confidently walked into the trailer as usual and came out into the woods to join her new herd. It was like arriving at her real family. All sort of black Mias, except for a brown one, with whom she currently gets along best.

And so Mia has arrived super well, and she can also have her calf there and keep it. I would have always wished for a cow life like that. Thank you dear ones, that’s perfect for me. Even if my heart is still a little heavy, it will get easier with time. All the best to you! I am happy if I can visit you.

Hey! Today I’m really happy because now we can finally get started!

A phone call to the hotline in Göttingen gave us the go-ahead: service, outside, observe hygiene rules: keep your distance, disinfect or wash your hands. Welcome to our Flütjerhof!

All the big animals are outside: the horses are together and the cows are together. Nikki will be a mom soon, but Lissi is suckling on her mum Tilda.

Next weekend we will move again to small areas for grazing for 1 – 2 weeks. It finally rained and grass still grew, even if the persistent drought is stressful for our calcareous grassland. Still, a little rain is better than no rain at all. Let’s hope that the long-term weather forecast is wrong and that we won’t have such a dry summer as the last two years. Hope dies last.

Stay healthy! We look forward to you.

Be Authentic

Immerse yourself in family history – in my case, it was good to learn more about the family. The suffering and life of the ancestors shed a completely new light on one’s own subjectively experienced past. A lot has been repeated…

How did I slip in? A combination of several circumstances. A death. Worst bullying within the closest family afterwards. Too much work. Your day has 48 hours. Panic. Keep working! Don’t give up, keep going. Driving the long distance to work. Pressure at work to the point of bossing. Panicking for solutions: how do I get out of here?

Of course I had to change jobs. Where my gentle soul is abused I cannot stay.

Now I know what I need: I go out into the fresh air a lot, I’m happy with my animals, I’m content in my team. I am satisfied with my work, in which I am encouraged and challenged.

Enough sleep! Always the be-all and end-all.

Good, strengthening contacts – with a lot of humor. There is nothing better than a family that manages to have your back. People who believe in you

Do you know that?

Well-intentioned advice:

Come on!

You’re fine, you’ve got everything!

Then simply sell an animal/the animals.

Just set rules for your family. You are not tough enough You don’t assert yourself.

Hardly anyone understood the situation.

So in 2016 I came to cow cuddling, back to my horses and to my new job.

Let me ride, no longer will I endure the endless hours of gray numbers!
